What's your take on Unreal II The Awakening

"Legend's taking care to right some long-standing wrongs in the action gaming world."

This game is schedule to be released Feb 4, 03 who here thinks they will buy it.
 
I think it will be great. I love single player, and it's time to realize that every game does not need to include MP just so it can be "good"
 
It's definitely on my "must buy" list. I still enjoy single player games, and Unreal II should be an excellent break from multiplayer.
 
"long standing wrongs"? I wonder what they could mean :/
I know there are some niggles I usually see in FPS' but I can't think what they are. If U2 gets rid of these, it could be an almost perfect game!
 
I'm so there - the original Unreal is on my list of top ten games I've ever played and I've finished it eight times. I can't wait for Unreal II. 😎
 
I'm not going to get my hopes up. I couldn't wait for ut2k3 to come out because I loved UT. Unfortunately, the game didn't live up to my expectations. I'm hoping Unreal II will, but I'll wait and see before I decide whether or not to buy it.
 
I missed out on the first one. Think it's still worth buying if I can find it? How scalable were the graphics of that "era"?
 
Amazingly enough the graphics are still quite good.... I loaded it on my machine earlier this year and not only did the framerate skyrocket, but they scaled well. It's still quite fun!

Definitely much better than Quake 2, which came out about the same time.
 
I really liked the first Unreal, and I have the expansion that I have to tackle sometime, but the graphics in Unreal II look even more wicked than UT2003, so I can't wait for the single player aspect. Multi-player is good but shooting the same people without a focus on an adventure aspect leaves a bit to desire.

I think Unreal II will be kick ass if they can put it out soon in 03 (it has been pushed back several times cause it was originally supposed to come out this fall or around the holidays).
 
Unreal turnament 2003 was junk! All these so called game reviewers were bias. It was the same game as unreal turnament.
Why didn't they just patch the old game?
To get their hands on our money thats why.
Unreal 2 is going to be the same thing.

The real question is when the warez copy of unreal 2 coming out?

If your looking for a great single player game. Wait for Halo for the PC or get an xbox and play it right now.
I cant wait for Halo 2 and starcraft ghost!

Or better yet, go out and get NOLF 2, it is a great single player game!
