I'm curious what people are up to this summer, esp. given the bad job market...
I'm working on a speaker system that utilizes DSP to both adapt to your room's acoustics and emulate the best characteristics of both standard speaker drivers and electrostatic speakers. It's expected to retail for roughly $12,000, and use a computer to do the DSP. I'll be off in Berkeley, CA.
Oh, the company is called Intelligent Audio Systems -- there was a blurb in I believe the April issue of Sound and Vision magazine about them from the CES show.
