what's your SETI output per day?

Now that I have all my PCs running pretty consistantly I am averaging about 11-12 units a day. Last week I got out 82 units. My all time high so far. :) I was just curious what some of you are doing , I assume some of you are doing about 50-60 or more.

One more thing, my wife works from home 3 days a week and when she gets on her PPTP I lose my connection and as soon as my PCs finish the unit they are working on they go to idle. We have ICS and her PC is the server and my other two are clients so if she forgets to disconnect her PPTP before I wake up I can lose up to 9 hours(or more) a day, or about 3-4 WUs, between all 3 PCs..

Does SETIQ store WU for just this kind of situation? Is it compatable with SETI spy?

I just got my herd up and running after an upgrade. Thier listed in my sig.
Yesterday wasn't a full day , but today will be and it looks like 15 might be a good number plus or minus 1.
I'm shooting for 110 a week. So far my best has been 67 but that was with the old herd.
:D
Goals 110 a week
500 WU's by October 23rd
1000 WU's by November 30th

Currently this morning 218, as of this writing.

Yes SetiQ will help you there. I'm a dummy though, I can't get it to work. I have a RT314 router here for the pc's and I just can't get it to download the WU's after patching :(

Hi Stallion,

SETIQ is exactly what you need, it will store upto 5 days worth of Work Units for your whole herd. We wrote a faq on the installation of it if you need any help, or post again and I'll do my best.. OR you could ask Ben98, he's had some experience :):):)

My current output is around 85WU/day...
Until around a month ago it was 140WU/day but I have lost some machines and others are out of action due to our lab being re-built.

cheers,

Col.

As of about 5 minutes ago I was at 1080 units. :) I have a 700@933 ,mushkin 133 rev1.5, a Katmai 550, corsair PC100, a p200 and I loaded it on my parents 600E 64mg Micron pC100. I was thinking about turning it up a bit. ;) I have another P166 that needs a HDD , not sureif it's worth the hassle. my 200 does a WU in 23 hours so it might be good for about 4 WU a week I would guess.

ColinP, just how many PC do you have running to get that many a day? Do you work at a place where you can load it on some work PCs?

I just ramped up my output from 45-50/day. I added a couple of boxes and changed some of the clients to optimize the boxes. Fast machines like the 2.70 beta client. Slower boxes do better with the CL client. Here's my last 2 weeks from nexus9's page.

Wow ,now that is impressive. My SETI team leader is from Reading England but he doesn't have a plethora of PCs like that. Nice job, that must of took you awhile to even load all of those. :D

I'm running a C300a-> 450 and it's taking 15 hrs/WU. I think the Via chipset isn't that great (cheap MB with slot1 and S370 on it). I'm going to tweak Linux to make sure that I'm not losing cycles to daemons I don't need.

Stallion,

You joining us soon? <grin>
