What's your ringtone?

Here's some I really like and keep on my phone:

Mario Lopez - Sound of Nature
Mortal Kombat
Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave
Canon

Setting the tempo faster adds a nice touch.

The Purdue Fight Song. I haven't found anything really good for my phone yet. I want to find a place that offers free polymorphic ringtones that I can dl to my computer since I have bluetooth. Those are hard to come by though.

"Get out of there, It's gonna blow!"

its one of the sounds from counter-strike.

how did you get that on there?

I changed it to 8bit mono(and something else), then you turn the volume up real loud and record it into the ringtone format, then i used www.3gupload.com to send it to my phone.

The sounds from counter-strike are already on your harddrive, just go find the one you want, and copy it to another directory.

Then, open it up in sound recorder, and go co convert now, to playback format, then choose 8khz, 16bit, mono(I THINK you leave it at PCM).

Next, you get some other program, i forget what, i'll look for it real quick, its free and it records the sound into the cellphone format, but it has to be 8khz 16bit mono, or it wont play.

Then 3gupload.com (also, there is a way to get around donating here.)

that all makes sense up until the record it into ringtone part. I assume your phone type plays tones other than midi. cause as far as I know midi can't play words.😕

Polyphonic ringtones = midi files. You can find them anywhere.
