Umm..crack them and then scramble them? :p

You can add cheese, ham, peppers, etc to them if you like.

Usually two to three eggs in a bowl, plus some American cheese. Then just scramble them like normal.

Crack a two eggs into a bowl.
Beat with a fork until smooth and add a splash of cream or milk.
Melt butter in a saucepan until slightly bubbling (not until going brown)
Add beaten eggs to butter and turn the heat right down.
Add salt and pepper whilst cooking the eggs.
Continuously stir with a wooden spoon until eggs are cooked.
Eat.

My favorite way to make scrambled eggs:

3 eggs
2 T water
1 slice American cheese
1/2 T butter or margarine
salt
pepper
onion powder
garlic powder

Melt butter or margarine in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Grate or tear the cheese into small pieces.
In a bowl, beat eggs with water with a fork just until they are solid yellow. Pour into pan. Keep stirring and turning the eggs as they cook and when almost done, add seasoning to taste.

Serve with or on buttered toast.

BTW .. that's what I had for breakfast today also ... at 2pm :)

here's what I like to do.

- Take a frying pan of appropriate size, heat on mid-high heat (maybe 8)
- Chuck in a small piece of butter (say a P4 heatspreader sized piece of butter ;) )
- Once butter is melted, put in 2 tablespoons of hot salsa and a Kraft single
- Once the cheese starts melting, break 2 eggs and put them in, right after you do that, put 2 slices of bread in the toaster
- Cook the eggs, by the time you finish, the toast should have just finished.

Enjoy

Real men eat eggs raw! And don't use a glass - tilt your head back and crack 'em open...

To reduce the number of frying pans I have to clean, I do my scrambled eggs in the microwave. Two eggs, dap of butter, chopped jalapenos, cheese, and a sprinkle of mushrooms. Mix in bowl and mic for about 5 minutes. Gotta stir it about every 30 seconds though.

You want GOOD, FLUFFY, restaurant-caliber eggs?

2-3 eggs
tbsp cream / half and half

whisk together well

put 1 pat (1 tbsp) butter into a pan over medium heat

when butter has melted, add eggs.

wait until eggs are set on bottom, stir lightly until fully cooked

add salt and pepper to taste.

That's it. You can add whatever you want to your eggs before cooking, i.e. spinach, cheese, etc. but that seems a bit out of your league granted you can't even scramble them. :p
You might want to check out the book "Joy of Cooking" -- it's indispensable for looking up ANY kind of recipe.

I have a friend that does that.

I'm assuming you know not much about cooking them, given your butter question. Melt some butter in the pan, scramble the eggs, pour them in, as they start to solidify start nudging them around with the spatula. Add whatever appeals to you from the list of things above.

I don't cook often but like some scrambled eggs, add a little milk for fluffier eggs, add some lawry salt for some good up eggs.

recipe?

scrambled eggs are just what their name implies, the only other ingrediant is to make sure they don't stick to the pan

Recipe for crispy scrambled eggs:

1/8 cup of butter
14 eggs
1/3 bell pepper
2 habaneros
1/4 onion

Put all the eggs in a very big bowl and break them all with your fists (don't be a pansy).
Chop the bell pepper, one habanero and the onion and mix them in the batch.
Next, crush the habanero with your hands (squeeze the hell out of it) and throw it in the trash.
Rub your eyes.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and toss the egg mixture.
