What's your opinion on this?

I work at a cell phone store, blah blah blah. We sell faceplates for cell phones such as Nokia, Motorola etc.

I work in a country area where marijuana usage is pretty high. I ordered a few marijuana leaf faceplates and my manager visited my store and yanked them claiming that we do not sell marijuana so we won't be selling these faceplates.

Weird or what?

I see his point... but then again there are so many other illegal items like copyrighted items that aren't even copyrighted that I've seen him sell.

I'm not saying he's wrong, just want your humble opinion. 🙂

I don't see why you shouldn't sell them, but he's the manager, so it's his decision.

Plus the amount of people that u turn off by selling them probably would out weigh the amount of sales.

Anybody thats "turned off" by a store that obviously caters to different peoples tastes... is stupid. 😛

My opinion is that if people want to buy it, you should sell it. It's not illegal, and it's merely simple supply and demand.. However, while I don't personally agree with your manager, I understand where he's coming from. *shrug*

I understand both sides as I am split between the decision. Of course I cannot tell him to F off otherwise I'd be unemployed. But I do see how people may be deterred to make a purchase here if we some how "promote" or "support" drug paraphanelia. I just wanted other's opinions on this.
