Hi.
Ive just been browsing around the BBC Radio1 chart news. And aparently "The Darkness" has debuted on the US Billboard chart at no.93.
What are your opinions on them then?

I personally think that they`re pretty good. Like alot of their tracks, and are very different to all the other stuff thats out there.

I like them, different sound, and they are not some studio pop band.
They were on a UK talkshow called "The Frank Skinner Show".
Aparently the big music labels have known about them for ages, but thought that they were a joke. So they all got full time jobs to pay for a recording studio so that they could record their album, and its either;
1) They are their own record label
or
2) They submitted the album to a smaller label, and they accepted them.
Can`t remember exactely.

Either Way, you`ve gotta respect what they`ve done.

The Darkness are undeniably cool, and hark back to the day of Glam Rock when men could get away with wearing ghastly clothes like that. Personally, I find their music top notch and their videos hilarious too. I'd say they're one of my favourite bands at the mo without question.:beer:

Love them, it's good to see that groups with super ugly dudes who can actually play music can still make it big

I've only seen their video so far. It's not bad but for me the jury is still out on them right now.

Who gives a flying fish about what the "jury" thinks... I like them, and I purchased their CD.
