If you had called up Nintendo at the time and complained about the video connector they'd upgrade it for you. :)

The top-loader with the multi-out AV connector is my holy grail, but I'd still play on the old model because it has an eject mechanism and power light...and works fine anyway with a good connector.

Probably my bedroom alarm clock, I've had that thing since I was a little kid. It's just a really basic plugin type, nothing special, but it's always worked so I never replaced it.
Bingo. I see a lot of people using ancient alarm clocks. My parents just had to replace theirs that had those old flip style numbers.

Mine has a radio & cassette player. And a volume knob that goes up to a truly ear-splitting level.

GE Radio/Alarm clock that I obtained sometime in 1987, shortly after the family moved from one podunk town to another, slightly more upscale podunk town. I think we got this thing at BEST Products (basically a version of KMart).

At has glorious faux wood paneling on the sides.

This thing still works, and I might never replace it.
