I just moved to NY from CO not long ago and I'm learning all these stupid laws they have here, pointless laws written by an overactive legislature.
In NJ you can't pump your own gas. (See earlier post)
Driving out here I noticed the levers on the gas nossles to keep it locked and pumping while you wait disappeared in PA and never showed up again (except in v. rare stations? WTF?) WHY?!?!?!
This is far more annoying than not being able to pump your gas in NJ, because you have to stand there and hold the nossle until its full!!!!! You can't walk away and wash windows,escape rain, etc...
What is the point of this? I lived in CO for 24 yrs, and no one I have ever known has overfilled thier tank bc the lever didn't release!! Gets my vote for "Most annoying law, EVER!" :|
