Acer 76e 17" It's getting a bit old but it's still fine.

A 19" is probably in my future for next summer.:)

I run 1024x768 on a MAG DXT-15 trinitron monitor, 0.26mm pitch. It is refurbished. I'm not sure how they define refurbished, it looks more like a slight second to me. I have 2 actually, because they were cheap and I like the first so much.

Well, here in my dorm I'm still using a 1989 14-inch NEC coupled to a 486-66 PS/2 running OS/2 Warp 3 as I wait (and wait and wait and wait---) for IBM to ship my ThinkPad (ordered 10 July). At home the familt computer has a 17-inch ViewSonic V74F. Nice monitor, I like it a lot.

My old monitor was a Mag DJ700. It had one of those JAG controls that was soo addicting to play with..heh. I recently upgraded to the Samsung 900NF w/ BNC connectors. I love the picture of my Samsung but I miss the JAG control of the MAG...=(

I have a dual monitor setup for my Digital Video Editing rig:

1 Viewsonic 17": E771
1 Samsung 19": Syncmaster 900SL+ Short-neck

Both are GREAT monitors

Cheers!

<<Lombardaga what make and model is your monitor? i am getting a 17" Iiyama Vision Pro 410 for my new PC, but at the moment I have a 15".>>

The model is a Hansol 710P, absolutely fantastic in 1280*1024 with 85 Hz and 0.26 dp.I dont know if that brand is common where u live (wherever that is...)

Mine is a CTX 19" VL950 ,when I upgrade next it will be another 19"(probably the best I can get where money is no object like a Sony or Iiyama Pro diamondtron of some kind) or wait for the widescreen monitors.

:)

I've got an old Dell 21" (Ultrascan 21FS-BN) with a switchbox to my laptop and desktop.
Laptop is running at 1024x768
Desktop is running at 1280x1024

Monitor goes up to 1600x1200, but only at 60Hz.

21" is a great investment though, only problem is when you've had one for years, and want a new monitor with a better res/refresh rate, it'll cost a fortune, because you won't be willing to go to anything lower than 21".

i got a 19 inch pixie, lol. i run it at 1024x768 for must stuff. It looks pretty good but the footprint is huge! I have no more desk space now! Oh well, it was $250 shipped and it looks good.
