What's your interview success rate for getting a job?

I've only gotten rejected 3 times out of around 30 or 40 companies that i actually had an interview with. So I guess > 90% success rate

I'm 0 for 0... my internship/co-op turned into a full-time position when I graduated. And strangely enough, I didn't even have a real interview for the co-op position, we just played phone tag for a few days and then they said they'd hire me 🙂 But I wish you much luck. Keep trying.

0 for 100. But I keep applying for jobs with multi-million dollar salaries and a license to kill, so I only need to score once and I'm set for life.

What's surprising about the 0 for 100 is not the "0", it's the 100. Where do you find so many of these opportunities?

Are you kidding? How do you think Microsoft got to where it's at now? Their rivals didn't just close up shop and go away. Bill Gates hires more high-priced hitmen than the Mafia does.

if this is just interviews and not applications, i think ive only not gotten one job... so that would be 4/5 i believe. theyre not very complicated jobs though, so i dont see how anyone could NOT get them 😛

edit: just thought of another.. make that 4/6 😛

covering a year span just before i graduated to just after i graduated:

4 interviews for engineering positions, including two times where i had to fly to the company to interview (and yes that does make me feel special)
3 offers

2 x laid off (makes me feel even more special)

i give presentations (similar to interview i guess) to about 4 doctors/officemanagers/doctors wives a month. when i present the doctor i have about a 90% success rate, when i present office manager/doctors wife about 40% success rate.

overall not bad.

i sell IT services and Practice Management software to doctors offices. mostly they buy it for my service. my product is average (i'm a reseller) but my support is stellar. i answer all calls and i respond within 24 hrs.
