Guessing you currently have DSL, you may will gain download speed but probably lose some upload speed if you go with standard cable internet. I have lived in 3 different places with 3 cable providers in the past 2 years with speed average around 4500/360
 
Any tests in Europe? I get only, like, 450 on this test, but I usually get more than 2.5MB/s+ from RapidShare.

speedtest.net FFS, I already mentioned it is much better than the speakeasy POS. LOL 😉
