And what do you have now?

Current for me:

iPhone 6 daily driver
iPad
MBA 13"
Mac Mini and a Windows custom build

Ideal:

iPhone 6
iPad
MBP 2015 and a Surface Pro i7
Don't really need a desktop any more.

Have a handful of other stuff, just listed what I use the most...

What I have:

-HTC M8
-iPad Air 2
-Macbook Pro 13
-So many freaking desktops its not funny
-LG G Watch

Ideal:

-5ish inch Nexus phone with a NON-810 SoC and a reversible charging port
-A ten or even twelve inch Android tablet that doesn't suck and will have years of updates
-No laptop because I have a big Android tablet to do that job
-Will always have an army of desktops
-Second Gen Moto 360 unless its LCD again

Reading back my optimal list maybe I need to just give up on Android and iOS tablets and get a Surface.

Current:

Nexus 5
LG G pad 8.3 LTE tablet
Kindle DX
Asus T100 hybrid laptop/tablet (toy/testing machine)
HP Touchpad (in bathroom.. too slow for regular browsing)
MBA
desktop

Ideal:
Probably a nexus 6 / Z Ultra version2 (merge my phone+tablet)
Kindle DX/Sony DPT-S1 eInk for long-term reading
MBP
Co-located server with ESXi (takes care of the toy/testing machine and portable/reachable powerful desktop. think i'll give up on gaming)

Have:
Nokia 1520
Surface Pro 3
Lenovo Yoga 3
Multiple desktops
Xbox One
Microsoft Band

Ideal:
Phone-Windows Phone 10 w\ killer flagship specs.
Surface Pro 4 for travel and media
Keep Yoga 3 unless battery cab be improved by at least 30%
No change to desktops except Windows 10
Xbox One

I'm probably the only Windows fan left around here..

Use daily:
Note 4 (personal)
HTC M8 (work)
Gear 2
Tab pro 8.4
Asus win8.1 touchscreen laptop
Custom PC with all the bells and whistles

Ideal:
nada. I am good.

Whats collecting dust:
Macbook Pro
ipad 2, ipad 4, iphone 5, iphone 4s.

I'm good 🙂

HTC One M8 which I use 80% of my time
PS4 which I use 15% of my time
Desktop PC which I use the remaining 5%

I also have an iPad Mini 2 and a Kindle. I haven't used the iPad in months. Didn't feel like reading anything recently, so the Kindle is also idling.

What would be perfect? A phone with a battery lasting a week at least. Functionally, my devices are already covering all my needs.

I want a 6.8" phone that has a skylake cpu SoC with integrated big.LITTLE airmont cores that seamlessly switches between android and windows. Dont care if it weighs 1.3 lbs.

Current for me:

iPhone 6
Nexus 7
MBA 13" (2010 I think)
Desktop I just built

Ideal:

I'm pretty much good where I am. Would consider possibly upgrading the MBP to a newer version or go in the PC laptop direction.

Current for me:

S6 Edge
HP Envy 9470M (provided by work)
MBP Mid-2009
iPad 4
Desktop that hasn't been upgraded in a few years
PS4/Xbox One

Ideally I would get rid of the desktop and upgrade the MBP.

Current:

Note 4 (communications hub, notes, idea sketching, go-to browser often)

Note 12.2 Tablet (work, PDF viewer for storyboards and scripts, notes, drawing, sketching, FTP and Remote PC server management, browser, bedside entertainment)

MacBook Pro Retina 2012 (I've probably edited 60 or more animated show episodes on it- use it every day.)

Custom built Sandybridge PC running OSX (main) and Windows 8.1 (Edit with it almost every day- FCP in OSX, rarely even boot Windows on it.)

Ideal:
Nothing better for me than the Note 4 currently exists. Note 5?

More updated 12" Galaxy Note 12.2 if Samsung would ever make one. (not holding my breath)

Surface Pro at 12" and wacom (not NTrig) pen for drawing if only that existed. NTrig just doesnt feel right for drawing to me.

Newer MacBook Pro that hasn't been de-balled in some stupid way by Apple, but current is just fine.

Updated PC: CPU, motherboard, graphics card, but really I don't need it since my current works fine.

This is what I have and is my ideal setup.

Phone: 5.7'"Lumia 1520/ windows 10
Tablet: 8" winbook/windows 10
Notebook: 15" Core i7/gtx970m /windows 10
Desktop: look in signature/windows 10
Upgrading desktop at end of summer.

All working in harmony together with windows 10. 🙂
Everything I do on one device is on the other, very cool.

Edit: I changed my mind I want a Surface tablet/windows 10 instead of the 8" winbook soon.

Current for me:

-Nexus 5
-iPad mini retina 16GB
-MBP retina 13" late 2013
-Desktop in signature

Ideal:

-phone: a ~5 inch 1080p iPhone or maybe the rumoured 2015 Nexus 5 (my battery life on my current Nexus 5 hasn't been amazing lately)
-iPad mini retina 32GB (16GB isn't enough!)
-my laptop is fine
-desktop is fine

iPhone 6 Plus
13" MBP retina

I'm a minimalist, the less tools I need to maintain, the better. I tried adding an iPad into the mix, and I didn't see where to fit it in. It became more of an annoyance then a luxury, so I sold it. What I would ideally want is the new MB, but it needs to be faster and have more USB ports before I spend that kind of dough. I'd also like to own an Apple watch, so I can stop pulling my phone out of my pocket every damn time someone texts me, but not for the price Apple is asking.

Another couple of months and the used ones will drop below retail.

Have...

iPhone 4S
iPad 3
MacBook 13'' (Late 2008)
Custom built desktop: Phenom II 955 BE, 8GB DDR2, 2x Radeon HD 6850, Windows 7 / Linux Mint

Have:
- GS6 (iPhone 6 as a backup)

This is my ideal setup, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
