what's your hobby/help me think of a hobby

i have decided i need something to fill my summer. I am saving up for a car/truck so fix up so it can't be very expensive. What do you all do? it's either this, a pet, or a girlfriend, but my dad hates pets and i can't get a girlfriend, so i need a hobby. Any suggestions?

Why can't you get a girlfriend?

And fish make good pets. Get a small mini-reef tank. You can put cool stuff like seahorses or octopi in it.

i can't because i'm still trying to get over the last girl, i'm not the kind of guy who will get a second look, and i'm socially inept so unless i have a lot of luck, it's not going to happen. and my dad simply will not have any animals in the house, so fish are out too.

i really want to work on a car this summer, but i just don't have the money for one. Plus the new thing in ontario is that before you can transfer a title the car must pass an emissions test, which means i can't just get some $200 beater to drive around :|

I used to do RC modelboat racing when I lived in Sweden.
