whats your highest overclock on the ESC k7s5a With honeyx bios?

whats your highest overclock on the ESC k7s5a With honeyx bios? did you do any modding to the board such as new h/s on north b, or volt trick?

where do i get honeyx bios? I use Cheapo bios on my ECS, but I think I got a dud T'bred A. Not stable at all beyond 133Mhz FSB. :frown:

i got 166 using cheepoman's and using speedfan 4.08
w/o speedfan i could run it @ 150

gonna order one of the newegg 1700's soon, and try and overclock on this board. i havent tried oc'ing on it yet. what options are available to me(multiplier and FSB wise)? should i upgrade to the honeyx bios? do i need to unlock the chip? its been so long since i oc'ed an athlon, heh.

Uh, I'm not trying to overclock on this board, but sometimes the BIOS seems to overclock on its own. Occasionally (after I'd moved it, or unplugged it and got the Lost CMOS effect) it would decide that my 1600 was an 1800, but it would never last past the next CMOS reset.

I'd forgotten about this till I installed my new 2200 tbred B last night - the K7S5A is convinced that its a 2400, even if I clear the BIOS. I'm not complaining, of course, especially since its running so damn cool with a Sk-7 and panaflo, but it has started me thinking that maybe I should try to overclock on this board after all...
