to be honest, I like several but my favourite is a vodka lime mix.

I also like rum and coke (I use coke zero due to diabetes and no I don't drink much at all any more).

I do miss having a Long Island Iced Tea.

last on my list would be a fuzzy navel.

:)

I've yet to find one that I like, but I guess the least bad is a peanut butter and chocolate stout a local brewery makes.

I keep coming back to the Old Fashioned. But also love a good Tom Collins in the summer. I'm sure my dad is rolling over in his grave right about now. He always said he hated sweet drinks.

Trader Vic’s Scorpion. (Or at least Mama’s Fish House’s version)

Otherwise, Crown Royal for more normal sipping.

A good pale ale.

Runner-ups, gin and tonic or a REAL Margarita with fresh lime juice. None of that slushy shit.

Whisky generally. Scotch particularly. The only mixed drinks I'll drink is gin & tonic in the summer, and Irish cream in coffee in winter. I generally have beer around the house, but it lasts awhile.

Meh...booze snobs. To me, bourbon/tennesee whiskey is nasty...down the drain kind of stuff. I LIKE good Scotch, but it always made me want to fight...Irish whiskey is OK, but I can’t drink much.

I'm just about as far from a booze snob as you're going to find in these parts.

You know what you like, there's nothing wrong with that. I recall BITD when most of the grandparents, aunts and uncles drank drank Canadian whiskeys. Grandma used to ask (jokingly, when I was under 18) if I wanted a little whiskey in my ginger ale. There was always a bottle of CC or VO in the liquor cabinet.

Bourbon neat with a bourbon chaser.

Two fifths of this almost killed me:

Now, 50 years later, just the smell of bourbon makes me want to puke.

My favorite this year is turning out to be Cognac. I had some bad Brandy in college and never tried it again until recently. Now I'm excited to try different types but the selection around here isn't that good.
