I'd probably have to say the same, assuming we're talking straight vodka...sometimes I prefer other companies when mixing and whatnot. I've also been trying to taste all the vodkas I can find...so next up on my list is the new one that Absolut's bringing in called "Danska" or something like that. That, and I still haven't found a place that carries Ciroc either.

Though best bang for the buck gotta be this Swedish Vodka I found at my local store. 1.75L for $14.99.

My friends and I spent a night in the best club in Miami Beach. We met Samuel L Jackson and others. When it was over our bar tab was $1700.:Q

Most of it was Gray Goose.

Greygoose, Belvedere, or Three Olives if I have the money.

Otherwise, Finlandia is great for the price. I think it's in the range of Absolut, but it tastes SO, SO much better. But only when chilled, of course. Warm vodka = teh nastiness.

All that absolut is really good for is lemon drops (Citron, baby).

But yeah, short of Everclear/Golden Grain, you can't beat the price to performance ratio of 151. And raspberry 151 even tastes good...assuming the bartender knows what he/she is doing.

Edit: by the way, I tried Svedka one time just to see how it was, and oh my lord, the only thing worse was Tangueray (or however you spell it) vodka...they should really stick to just gin.

Oh, and anything in a plastic bottle (i.e. mr. boston's, mccormick, etc.) doesn't count as vodka. It's sole purpose is to be used in punch with massive amounts of sugar, thus masking it's taste.

I also can't stand smirnoff or sky, but that's just me.

Mc Cormick. Bottom line. Its cheap (6.35 a bottle) but it doesnt come in plastic, and most vodkas taste like hell anyway. You want to get slammed, or get a bunch of people slammed? Its a cheap solution. And hey, while we are talking about it, you have to try this drink:

"Meteor"

2 parts orange juice
2 parts Minute maid "tropical punch" (hard to find)*
1 part Vodka


This is a concoction me and some buddies made up, and we shook it up in a snapple meteor bottle, so we started calling it the meteor. Its a really good drink, and everyone who has tried it loves it. It's a good "chick drink" because it goes down smooth.

*note, don't use the red " tropical punch" thats for kids, and comes in the juice container. The tropical punch I am referring to comes in a 20oz bottle, and its a mix of orange juice, pineapple, and mango. Its very orange, and an important ingredient. Oh yeah, and don't do it if you are under 21.

Enjoy. my vote is for Mc Cormicks, but stoli is good too.
