What's your favorite video game universe?

I would so love something in this kind of universe. It doesn't have to be the same one and it doesn't have to be steampunk with magic, just an RPG that takes places in 19th century. Maybe about exploring the heart of then undiscovered central Africa. Or just an ordinary grim mist-filled Victorian London adventures.
 
EVE

I dont like playing EVE but theres so much potential there. The world it takes place in has to be one of the best scifi IP's of all times. What little there is to look at in EVE looks awesome. The ship designs are some of the best Ive seen for scifi IP's.

If only it were a space sim and not a space one unit RTS.
