What's your favorite type of coffee?

I'm interested in your preferences regarding coffee. What do you prefer? Do you own a regular coffee maker? or a fancy, expensive machine?

If you don't like coffee, then what do you drink in the morning?

Electric kettle + ceramic cone that drips into a pint mug.

Starbucks Caffe Verona 80/20 blend, with 2% milk and raw sugar. The Serena organic blend is good too.

I usually just drink the free drip from the cafe at my work, which is actually quite dark and good. If I'm feeling frisky I'll hit Starbucks for a latte.

*cue all the Starbucks haters

I like a good, dark French roast (I don't honestly care if it's fair trade, shade-grown, conflict-free, green-friendly whatever the fuck is en vogue these days, but I live in Portland, so if I ever admitted that aloud, I'd be mauled by wild hippies). I prefer coffee made in a French press, but at the moment I have nothing to make my own coffee in.

It just struck me that French roast in a French press sounds a little too French, so I'm changing my preferences to a Freedom roast in a Victory press.

I just purchased an electric kettle and press pot (aka Victory press) for work. First round today was pretty strong. Gonna back off the beans tomorrow and see how it goes. The press pot is far more interesting than a auto-drip machine.

And current beans are Starbucks cafe verona ... or something like that. I just grabbed one that said "bold" on it.

When the shit-ass St Louis Cardinal baseball team scores 6 runs, I get me some 25 cent 20 oz Bengal Traders from Mobile on the Run.

Wild Mountain Blueberry is the flavor I go for.

I am not a coffee connoisseur, altho I wish I was. I am in charge of the cost center at my office, but my budget only allows for the most heinous of coffees.

Finally someone mentions Colombian coffee. That's my favorite kind, and it's not just because i am Colombian.

Edit: Oh, yeah. Forgot to share the reps.

I like Colombian, French Roast and Vanilla Hazelnut. All even better with Bailey's or St. Brendan's Irish Cream.

I  my cuisinart and bean grinder.

I have a pretty standard $15 Mr Coffee coffee maker, and I make Maxwell House at home. We have Starbucks coffee at work, it's marginally better than the Maxwell House I brew at home, but not enough for me to pay the premium. There is a pretty nice coffee shop in the 1st floor of my apartment complex, Uptown Espresso, if I'm on the run I'll stop there and get the standard drip coffee (god I hate paying $2.25 for regular coffee). I drink my coffee black.

On occasion, when i'm in less of a coffee mood, I'll get Caffe Mocha, but this is very rare.

I like coffee.

I just have a Mr Coffee Thermal drip, and a crappy POS low end Espresso maker.

My favorite coffee is probably the greek coffee from Costa's in Chicago.
My favorite regular day to day roast is probably the Medium Roast Sumatra from World Market.

That said, I am not picky, I will drink just about any coffee except for the fancy one that they get out of the poop ....

 Has been my fav. for a long time. When I worked for a coffee company, I used to love eating the beans right out of the roaster. I often knew which coffee would be great just from eating the bean.

I thought that by c????bi?? s?pr??? by ?i??st??? you meant "Colombian Supremo by Millstone". It is improbably a coincidence, though.

Dean's Beans coffee (Moka Sumatra) and I use a Bunn coffee maker. My coffee maker doesn't have a clock built in, it doesn't have a timer, it doesn't turn itself on or off but it does make very good coffee very quickly.

Generally buy whole bean Green Mountain (varying types), non-decaf. I grind it myself with a burr grinder I got and stick it in my French press.
