What's your favorite tofu dish/recipe?

Look up asian cookbooks, tofu is a huge part of the diet. What kind of tofu are you working with, the soft white kind?

Many americans hate tofu partly because they are horrible at cooking it or dont cook it at all (eck). With the right sauce and accompanying ingredients, tofu is delicious.

I don't make anything with it, but I do order large quantities of hot & sour soup. Miso if it is decent.

Tofu steak.

Dry the tofu, dust it with flour and fry in a frying pan. For sauce I use a soy sauce, mirin and shiitake mushrooms and top with seaweed.

I take the tofu whole. Put it into a pot of water. Boil it.

Take it out. Cover it in Soy Sauce.

Dig In.
