What's your favorite programmable learning remote?

I currently have the radioshack 2116, and while i love the remote, i think i need a little more customization.... I.E. an LCD screen with programmable names for buttons....

Any reccomendations?

I may buy one of these things soon. I have a DVD/VCR combo and a TV which preprogrammed remotes hardly work except for a few functions. Menu, PIP do not work. It is funny that one of them lets me access the service menu so I perfected the pin cussion while I was in there.

Ross or anyone, I know that remote says it is for video devices but do you know if it can learn the codes for AC window units? They can't be any more complex than TV IR signals.

AFAIK, learning remotes can learn ANY IR signal. Whether it be for a camcorder, camera, dvd, XBOX, A/C, etc....

You just gotta remember which button you programmed to do what 😀
