I usually use Google Product Search or PriceGrabber.com, but i've been checking out NexTag and PriceScan lately too as well.

What do you use?

Google product search mostly.

I used to use Price Watch, but there were too many junk vendors.

Fatwallet - Hot Deals - although not really a price checker, I'll change brands if the price is right.

Lately I pretty much stick with Google ... all the price-search websites I used to visit (Pricewatch, Nextag, Dealtime) are pretty much worthless these days when it comes to good deals.

I like the process of checking multiple sites for prices and parts. I generally go to NewEgg, ZipZoomFly, MWave and Pricewatch in that order.

I saw PriceWatch recommended on The Screen Saver (Tech TV) many years ago.

Is it any good now?

More or less a combination of what people have said. I generally check pricegrabber and froogle to get a ballpark range. I then check amazon as the listing in pricegrabber is usually just the cheapest entry in the marketplace. I also check slickdeals and fatwallet for an idea of past deals. I then check for general store coupons which could be applied toward the purchase. I then check reviews and user comments to see if there are any pricing trends in addition to gathering info on the product.
