What's your favorite prebuilt site

Any suggestions besides Gateway and Dell?

I need to buy a guy a pre-built with CDRW, XP Pro, and hopefully an LCD for <$500, but I'm also just looking for info for future use as well.

Nope, that's about it.

And you're not gonna get a prebuit with an LCD for <$500.

Dell has had it before.

My first big hot deal purchase was two dell towers (p4 2.4) both with 15" LCDs for under $1000 shipped.

You can with rebate. course it's a crappy 15" but Dell has been offering them lately. I was pretty sure that SOMEONE once posted a site that was pretty good for prebuilts. I'm not JUST looking for the above so ANY site that people have dealt with and found good is acceptable.

there are coupons floating around that make it cheaper. check slim purse.

I detest prebuilts but their buying power is hard to compete with for those of us who build their own for people. No way I can build one AND throw in an LCD for that price. 🙁

Not to mention a legal copy of windows.

If I was going to buy prebuilt, I'd just crowbar the ol wallet open and buy alienware. The only thing that keeps me from buying a system like that, is I enjoy buying mine piece by piece and then assembling it.

Just had my hands on an HP Pavilion the other day. Nice easy access case, matching keyboard, mouse, and LCD monitor. They also offer AMD if that means anything to you.

Still, Dell's the one to beat. I like their quiet cooling method better, too.
