Another "Wish You Were Here", here.
I love "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" too.
I also am a big fan of "Not Now John".
Umm.... actually pretty much all of em. I have their box set, and find myself listening to it more then anything else I own (200 or so CD's), and definitely more then any other box set I own (Led Zep (the studio set), Police, James Brown).
I've been a huge Floyd for about 15+ years now (I'll be 29 in April), and even used Floyd as the basis for my 8th grade term paper (got a B+

). I saw them twice on the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. Once at the Providence Civic Center (14,000 seat), and then at The Foxboro Stadium (55,000-where The Patriots play). The indoor show in Prov was the best by far, because the lights were too hard to see outdoor in the fog at Foxboro.
I also saw the Radio Kaos (sp?) tour that same year (87'?). Roger Waters puts on an amazing show too, and I'm still kicking myself for not seeing him last year in Providence.
All I can say is. Listen to "Wish You Were Here". Then try their other stuff, and I think you'll become a huge fan too. They're very addictive IMO. I really have a special place in my heart for the "Wish You Were Here" though, and although it's short. I feel it's an extremely powerful CD.
Does anyone else find it odd that they put Momentary Lapse of Reason on the box set, but
not The Final Cut????
