I think mine is..

Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up

Dont even really like the song, but one crazy vid...first person view of someone gettin fvcked up, kickin ass ,havin sex, and a nice twist at the end...
Plus, I think its the only video I've seen on MTV that shows nudity..Still havent figured out how they pulled that off.

I think that Smack My Bitch Up was a DAMN good video, but not my fave.

I would save my fave video is "Come to Daddy" by Aphex Twin.

Another of my favourite videos is one i mentioned in another post. The whole video is focused on watching a young girl do martial arts kata. I have no idea who it is, but i want to find out

NIN's the perfect drug. Great atmosphere, characters, song, the blue tint. I haven't really come across many people who know what the story in the video is trying to get through. I love artistic type videos...

Might as well add Closer and Bowie/Reznor's i'm afraid of americans. Reminds me of a paxil commerical.

Land Of Confusion by Genesis. Those British puppeteers rule!

The most beautiful I ever saw, purely from an esthetic sense, is Rain by Madonna. Exquisite lines and colours. Bedtime Story isn't far behind either. Very pleasing to the eyes.

You Might Think (The Cars)

Duh, I forgot "and why." I'm so dumb.

Because TOOL RULES

JK:)

The video are very unique, disturbing, thought provoking, beautiful, brooding, moody, cascading, dynamic works, that reflect a level of introspection, and self realization, quite rare in any artwork. The dark sets and themes, and the stilted animation/camerawork/editing, flow seamlessly with every note being played. If you have not seen them, I suggest you take a look. Even a hater of heavy metal music could appreciate the care taken in creating these remarkable films.

You may still be able to download low quality versions from their website

The only problem I have with Pearl Jam's "Do The Evolution" is the girl in the video. Otherwise, another excellent video - and by far the best one they have ever made.

I doubt there are any Godflesh fans here, but they had a great video for Slavestate. It had some pretty psychedelic colors and trippy effects.

Every music video of Nightwish, one of the best bands in existance :)

Further I like those of Dimmu Borgir (Mourning Palace is a good one) and Korn has some good videos too.

<< Any TOOL video! >>

I second this, I wish I'd only been first to say it, Tool's videos are simply superb and display a level of thought not put forth in hardly any other videos. Emotional, powerful, and wonderful, watch them and try to understand them more deeply.
