My fav. is Shawshank Redemption, but that's popular.

Some good movies I've seen lately: Crash, The Assassination of Richard Nixon, City of God, 21 Grams, Sin City

Typical to see all these horrible 90s movies listed as OMGMYFAVS. Probably not a coincidence, but anyway:

"Yojimbo", "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly", "Withnail and I"

Start there.

Out in theaters? Wedding Crashers, hands down.
On video? Pulp Fiction, Blow, Good Will Hunting...

Batman Begins and Wedding Crashers are worth the price of admission right now.

Funny: Mallrats, Hotshots Part Deux, Dogma, Airplane, Wrongfully Accused

Drama: Black Hawk Down, A beautiful mind, good will hunting

definitely... roberto benigni is a brilliant man. it seems easy to throw together a jewish holocaust movie and receive accolades (the pianist.....lamest movie ever), but this one truly deserved it's oscar.
