I was thinking about these as I walked along the aisles of my favorite used dvd store today. What's your favorite tagline? Mine has to be from the little-known film "G.I. Bro":

"If you're a kraut, he'll take you out"

Yours?

Wouldn't The Matrix be "Everything that has a beginning has an end"? :p

A good one that stuck out to me was X Files' slogan, "Everything Dies"

They occasionally replaced, "Truth is out there"

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no

 one of my favorites.

since people are tossing out quotes instead of taglines, here's some 80s goodness

"No matter where you go, there you are" -- Buckaroo Banzai
(and "Not my damn planet, monkey boy!" -- John Bigboote)

"We need bigger guns!" -- Rutger Hauer, Split Second

"It's all in the reflexes" -- Jack Burton

The Godfather

"That's my family, Kay. It's not me."

"Do you spend time with your family? Good. Because a man that doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man."

"Fredo - you're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever."

"Mr. Corleone never asks a second favor once he's refused the first, understood?"

"I'll make him an offer he can't refuse."

"Luca Brasi, held a gun to his head, and my father assured him, that either his brain or his signature would be on the contract."

"Leave the gun. Take the cannolis."

"Clemenza: All right, you just shot 'em both. Now what do you do?
Michael: Sit down and finish my dinner."

"Bonasera... Bonasera..."

The Godfather Part II

"I know it was you Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!"

"I don't feel I have to wipe everybody out, Tom. Just my enemies."

"I make him an offer he don't refuse."

"If anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it is that you can kill anyone."

"We're both part of the same hypocrisy, senator, but never think it applies to my family. My offer is this: nothing. Not even the $20,000 for the gaming license, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally."

"My father's name was Antonio Andolini... and this is for you."
