Of the national chains I would pick Burger King (Captain D's a close 2nd).

Of those, it'd probably be Subway...although if I'm really feeling lazy and don't even want to leave my car to order, I'd end up at Arby's or Wendy's. However, Zaxby's has all those places beat.

Also, no "Steak & Shake" ? Lots around N Indiana, and Chicago.

They have some pretty good burgers, and a milkshake that will bring a tear to your eyes.

i know chipotle is not a drive-thru restaurant but hell, they are great.

although, to vote the best drive-thru restaurant, i'd pick wendy's due to spicy chicken sandwich.

I live in Ohio, and to my knowledge none of those chains exist here. :)

And I guess I've heard of Jack in the Box, but I've never seen or been to one and couldn't tell you what on earth their menu is.

Mine would be Famous Daves BBQ. It's not as wide known as others, but damn they make good a BBQ.

Edit: I'd vote Dick's, In-N-Out, Wendy's in that order.

that's quite possible! i know Bojangle's is in the south, i think Back Yard Burgers is too. the rest are on the west coast. if ya do make it out to west, ya gotta try In-N-Out, leading by far in this poll. :D

I'm really sorry. Dicks is good and all, but it's not even in the same league as In N' Out.

I know we're arguing taste here, so we can agree to disagree, but having grown up in Spokane, and now currently living in Seattle, I've had burgers from almost every Dick's restaurant. I have a fair amount of home-town pride in the quality of Dick's burgers. Even so, I *still* acknowledge that In N' Out's burgers are second to none.

I miss our Famous Dave's. They went out of business last year. :( Very good food but kind of expensive (it probably didn't help they opened up right across the street from another BBQ place that had better prices, but their food is not as good IMO).

I'll say Wendy's, out of the options I have. I say that because over in the US, you have about 3 times more choices in terms of fast food restaurants.

I don't think Famous Dave's is drive through though. At least not the ones that I've been to. Awesome food though.

Yeah, I guess it's considered a stop and go place. Like a Boston market. Though I do consider a fast food joint. Don't know why. I seem to label all franchises or chain restaurants the same.

I want to change my vote, you didn't have Dick's on there as an option when I voted.

Mmm just had a Double-Double for lunch...

yes I voted In-n-out.

Oh for those who voted for Del Taco/Taco Bell, don't tell me that you voted for them because they make great Mexican food....
