What's your favorite craigslist?

I'm excited that they finally opened a craigslist for my home area: mendocino.craigslist.org. I'm currently up in Washington though and I have to say that seattle.craiglist.org is absolutely limitless; I've never failed to find what I want on there.

I live right in the middle of nowhere. Each of the larger Craigslists are 1 1/2 hours to the NE or NW, and two smaller locales 1 hour E and 1 hour west.

Thanks for the idea though - thought of something to search for on Craigslist. 🙂

Acres of pot comes to mind. 😀

Not my type of lifestyle. Funny thing; I was never directly ran across it when I lived there. My husband drove through the county, was in it for 3 hours max. He came across a tree down, blocking the highway, and helped some locals move it and was offered drugs as a thank you. :disgust:

My father was born and raised in Ukiah. I visited there as a kid in the 70's. That place was running wild with hippies, bikers and potheads. I know Mendocino County (and Humboldt County) were known for their marijuana farms at one time.

Santa Fe, because it is the closest to me, but I check out Albuquerque sometimes too, especially if looking for cars.

Ukiah's my hometown. 🙂 Wish I was back there now instead of cold rainy Seattle...

Yeah, pot was the primary source of income for the county in 1999 (don't have any stats after that) with grapes and pears coming in second and third.
