If you have the time, and the money, you can make your own with a dehydrator. But those commercial jerkeys are just fine.

Bought some in bulk at a packing plant once in the Dakotas. That was the best!!! Buffalo jerky is good if you can find it.

Snap into a Slim Jim, ooh yeah.

The only jerky I've eaten for which I can remember the name.

Jerky makes me sick. :(

The buffalo jerky from North Dakota, I've had, and that stuff is actually pretty good.

Just FYI, I placed an order with Tillamook about half an hour ago, and I just got an email saying it's shipped. I like this company already. :)

Mmmmmmm, jerkey. The beef kind they sell at Costco is surprisingly good... I don't really like the Teriyaki Turkey Jerkey as much.

Peace,
Dezign

Ameesh you really need to get a food dehydrator and make your own...The nitrates in commercial jerky make it take like blah.,

"Hot gourmet" and teriaki are both very tasty.

i like those too, thats what im snacking on now. the smoked steak nuggets.

They make great stuff... I bought a bag of their jerky about a year ago and found a piece of metal in a piece of the jerky. They ended up giving me lots of free jerky :D

Or do it in the oven...lowest setting...cooling racks set on foil (you don't want to have to wash cookie sheets)...overnight...yum. Liquid smoke flavor can be added; most stores have hickory and mesquite.

I don't think Slim Jim really counts as jerky. Stick != jerky
