I voted Norton since it has found viruses that McAfee always seems to miss. Note: I only use McAfee since it is free for all university students - as many copies as we want. I'll take the free protection over none at all (since I won't pay for Norton).

AVG, it works, does not take over your computer and you can not beat the price.

Linux...*L* Good answer.
iI myself use an illegal copy of Norton Corporate I downlaoded. Now, before we get in a tussle! I BOUGHT Norton 2001. But oh...it doesnt support Server OS's. So, it didnt work on Win2K AS. Well, I felt like I had PAID for 1 copy of Norton, and damnit I was going to get 1 copy of Norton. And businesses dont take back opened software. Thus, it sets on my shelf and I use a downloaded copy of Corporate that I have, which in MY mind I legally did pay for.
I have to agree with Norton hosing up everything.
Anyways, does AVG support server OS's?

I used AVG, but switched to Norton when I found it cheap.

How long do you think it will be before AVG is no longer free?

None. I would rather risk the chance of a virus trashing my computer than live with a virus scanner hosing up my system. If I really need to scan I will run McAfee then quickly uninstall it.

I have Norton Pro, and it doesn't seem to tax my system much at all. I notice no difference from before I installed it. McAfee messed my computer up good two months ago, I will never use it again, even though it's free here. What a P.O.S.
