The movie Akira is my favorite. It has the most amazing animation I have ever seen.

My favorite series is Cowboy Bebop. Movie I would say Akira as well. It had a profound effect on my viewing habits after I first saw it a number of years back.

DBZ. There has nothing else that has catered to my taste as DBZ has.

DBZ catered to children as well as adults for some reason. Other anime just makes it look too cartoonish.

I think the way DBZ catered to adults is the way it showed so much violence.

Oh yeah, forgot to say Ranma 1/2. I stopped watching after Ranma couldn't get none from that girl he liked because of that other guy who kept interfering with their relationship.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Robotech/Macross series. Best Stuff eveer(cept for Macross7, that blows)

Akira really was a landmark event for Anime in the US. Almost everyone I know that has been into Anime for any real length of time has told me this was their first anime.

My Favorite anime movies are:
Akira
Princess Mononoke'
Ghost in the Shell
Spirited Away was cool

And the one that made me tear up like a bitch, Grave of the Fireflies.
