I like all of them a lot.

I agree - Technically, I wouldn't call STP grunge either, but it's better than all the other crap on the poll . . ..
 
STP is the one who's music has had the most staying power, IMO. You can listen to the songs as music, not just as nostalgia. Alice in Chains run a close second, and the Pumpkins are up there, but they are a shade . . . sensitive to typify Grunge.
 
smashing pumpkins' Siamese Dream was considered to be grunge at the time...
just like Radiohead's Pablo Honey.

looking back though, both groups evolved out of the stereotype.
 
Smashing Pumpkins are sooo much better than any of those other bands, but they are not really grunge. Nirvana sucks, I'm sorry. The others I like, but if I had to chose one that I liked more then probably Pearl Jam. Even the later stuff, omg!
