Lancia Delta Integrale HF in Red. I would import it to US if I could.... I got more than enough money to buy one! But the downside, where would I keep it? Evidently, 3 car garage is not enough...
I'm changing my vote to the Porsche 928. This was such an iconic car for me. Right up there with the Lamborghini Countach. It beats it simply because it was a car you could actually own and drive on a daily basis.
A couple are decent, namely the more unique sports cars and the early "super" cars, like the Countach that brainhulk posted. That was a very advanced design for it's time - that car is as old as I am. I don't like the average 80s car, though. I'd gladly take most affordable cars from the 50s and 60s (especially muscle cars) over the cars from that decade.
The Z32 launched as a 1990 model late in 1989 and ran through 96 (in the states at least) so I think you're thinking the in wrong decade here. That said, pignose S13 240SX's were pretty sweet, but I'm going to have to go with the 944 Turbo here. That, the Merkur XR4Ti, or the GN. At a glance it seems like the 80's were a pretty low point, but there were still plenty of gems to be had.
