a local radio station is playing christmas music 24-7, was wondering what your fave is. personally i lke white christmas.

the two christmas amy grant albums.. followed by celine dions.. mariah careys... can't remember what else i have:p stay away from aguileras xmas cd... its horrific.

I also like The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)

Believe it or not, The Christmas Song, one of the classiest holiday songs, was written by one of the tackist guys: Mel Torme

White Christmas will always be a favorite. Especially when sung by Bing Crosby.

*A* local radio station.. TWO local radio stations are playing non stop Christmas!

One I particularly like is "Merry Christmas from the Family"... try looking up the lyrics for that one :)

But seriously.. for traditional songs, I love Silent Night and Oh Holy Night.. I sing horribly but I love going to Midnight Mass and singing those songs

For "popular" songs.. the Eagles version of Please Come Home for Christmas, This Christmas, and the Muppets version of The Twelve Days of Christmas

When I was younger and stayed up all night Christmas eve, I was listening to the oldies station's 24 hrs of Christmas and they played Little Drummer Boy EVERY OTHER SONG! I don't like it anymore since then :(

It is hard to pick a favorite from all the ones I really like. I guess I will go with O Holy Night, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, and Silent Night. More contemporary ones I like include White Christmas, Christmas Song by Jethro Tull, and John Lennons Happy Christmas. One of my favorite Christmas albums is one I have that was done by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. I am glad I was able to find it on CD.
