What's Your "Customized" WaterCooling Setup?

What's your "Custom" (not custom-made but instead of buying a kit, you bought different parts to make your own kit...) WaterCooling Kit and its result/how much you were able to O/C?
I'm new to watercooling and I read the stickies above but I'm trying to get a feel of what are some good parts for watercooling (pump, waterblock, radiator, etc)
Thanks!

Where can I find cheap water blocks and pumps (quiet ones)? I live in Alaska and am half way tempted to mount the radiator outside with just a couple holes cut through the wall for the hoses to circulate.

Only problem with that idea is my computer will have a new perm home and won't want to move. :(

Hey, you could have just started a new thread instead of posting here because it doesn't really answer the thread/question. Just a suggestion because some people in here hate it when people crap on their thread. Just letting you know.

Considering you're looking into building a watercooling setup, and this is watercooling related, and in all likelihood when people respond you're going to ask "how much was that" or "where did you get that", I think this is a legitimate question, not a crap.

Btw, SinfulWeeper, as a last ditch alternative, you may be able to pick up a radiator and your local auto shop.

Oh, well I know it was related to watercooling but I was just saying that he might have gotten better answers if he started his own thread asking his question. No flames or anything.

Maze3 is a really good waterblock? I always thought Swiftech made really good waterblock but I'm looking for the best right now... or at least something really good... going by it part by part...

The "best" performing waterblock available now appears to be the White Water Rapids. The site also has other very high quality gear.

I personally use/have used the Spir@l Waterblock, Gemini, and Maze2. All perform well. For my primary rigs I have two custom made waterblocks that are a work of art from a guy in Canada. (only 12 made) ;)

As for radiators, I have either used heatercore types with shrouds, or the Black Ice Xtremes. I prefer the BIX for the size and mounting holes for 120mm fans. The performance really is not that far from a heatercore, and they come in cool colors. :)

I use Eheim pumps, Danner pumps, and Rainbow LifeGuard 1140 GPH "Quiet One" pumps. This Pump seems good for the $$ also, and is already set-up.

Usually the pump goes in the 5.25 tray (inside) right? I'm just trying to figure out what parts to get and where to fit them in my Lian-Li 60 case.

The pumps that I have inside of cases are in the bottom of the case. The only thing that I have in bays are the Bay Reservoirs that I linked to in one of your posts.

EDIT: If you want to get a good look at quite a few WC'ed setups.... Check out This Thread. (A fast net connection will help ;) )

Oh okay, so I can at least say that the most popular brands for the following are:

Waterblock - Swiftech, Danger Den, White Water
Radiators - Black Ice
Pumps - Eheim
Water - Distilled Water (of course, hehe)

Don't know about the rest, I got this info from visiting several forums and websites.
I'm looking to spend around $200 or so to build my watercooling kit/setup...

Spir@l Waterblock $52.00

370 GPH Pump $23.00

Bay Reservoir $24.99

Black Ice Xtreme Radiator $66.00

$165.99

Shipping, tubing, hose clamps, etc... should not exceed $200.00 for a damn nice setup. ;)

Did I mention that Bay Reservoir looks awesome? ;)

Also where could I find more information about white water's waterblock? I checked out the Spir@l's waterblock but I just wanted to check out the White Water's waterblock to see how it is, and all. Thanks

Are there any review for the D-Tek waterblock and/or the White Water's waterblock? Tried searching on Ebay but nothing came up. Thanks

The Bay Reservoir, that I would put in my 5.25 Bay and that's where all the distilled water would be @ right?
Yes... I have found the Bay Res works well.
Here is a long thread on the White Water Rapids block. A guy from Australia designed them and is having them made, then shipped to the States to be sold from the site I linked. It looks like there is a lot of demand for them.

Here is one review on the Spir@l block. I really like the thick copper construction and wide spiral cut channel it has. It also flows very well. :)

BLeh I should have had this posted @ the Case and Cooling forum, probably would have had a lot more responses there but still thanks everyone for the help.
