What's your current computer uptime?

I used to leave my pc on for many months at a time, but since have been turning it off whenever I am not using it to save electricity.

I had an AIX 4.3.3 server at work that went for 380 days in a row without a reboot. It took a scheduled power outage for UPS maintenance to finally bring that sucker down.

5 days

Had a smoothwall linux router that was 230 days then a reboot for an update and then another 180 or so I think.

I use to think it was cool to have my computer on "for as long as possible."

However, I realized that the majority of the time it wasn't being used and I wasn't gaining anything from leaving it on 24/7

Yea, I used to keep it on all the time and every week or two I'd clean the dust out.

But now, my computer is hardly on for more than two days at a time, unless I'm encoding videos overnight. Electricity rates shot up way too much for me to keep the habit of having the computers on nearly 24/7
