Seriously, to get started brewing your own will cost about $60 for equipment and supplies for the first batch. A batch is about 5 gals. or 9 six packs. After that it will cost about a dollar a beer. Brewing your own is not about saving money it's about brewing great beer and a great hobby. For more info try www.brewyourownbrew.com or your local supplier.

gonna have to pass then.

I usuly get 30 packs of some Miller light beer, (mgd, high life, etc) I get light because I drink to much and figure I outta do something to cut down on the calories.

I really enjoy a local brew-pubs beer. They have a ton of great ones.

Newcastle Brown is great, too.

A black & tan, or any decent brown ale. For this hot weather, I'm finding Brookyln Brewery's Pennant Ale to really quench my thirst.
