What's your average temp for Athlon on KK266 board?

i'm running an Athlon 1.13 @ 1.4 gig using the Pal6035 hsf. my average temp with no load is about 40 degrees Celsius while running at average load, it bumps it to 57 degrees. is that too high? do i need a new case? the case i had laying around is This One which is kinda short for my board. the HSF PAL6035 fan blows right into the back of the power supply. what can i do? do i need a new case?

Your case is trapping too much heat. I get 50C average in a big tower with 1 case fan.

I have the same mobo and had the same HS and I had the same kind of temps. I use WPCRSET reg 52 & EB and that brought my idle temps down to low 30s, but my load temps were still hittin mid to high 50s. I just put the Swiftech MC462 on and my load temps are low 40s now

I have an athlon running at 1.4 on the KK266 with a Turboengine and i get upper 20's at idle and mid to upper 30's with a load.
