What's your apps wishlist for the Iphone SDK?

I'm hoping they launch a sling player app for the iphone next week when the SDK is announced.

I know there are already a ton of apps launched with jailbroken phones but I didn't want to void my warranty by jailbreaking by iphone so I'm doing everything by the book. That being said, what are some the apps that should be legitimized once the SDK is announced?

adium is IM chat. perian is a video codec thing (does a whole bunch including divx). transmission is bit torrent i think (not sure on that one). dunno what tvshows is.

edit: tvshows downloads your tv shows off bit torrent apparently.

Exchange Activesync mail client and the ability to stream video from the WebGuide interface on a MCE box. Might convince me to buy one when a 3G version is available.

Pretty much the same stuff that's been written for the jailbroken phones: VNC client, SSH/SCP client, and a client for Yahoo IM.

A better streaming radio client would be nice, iRadio for jailbroken devices isn't very robust.

I'm not suggesting torrenting over Edge. That's just stupid. I want to have TVShows find shows for me that download in Transmission while I'm at home, or anywhere else that has WiFi. Also, something that can download podcasts would be nice.

do you want to download shows directly to your phone? The reason I ask be because Transmission already has Clutch which allows you to remotely monitor your torrents via a web browser...Safari on the iPhone should be able to do that.

I think BT on iPhone would kill the battery life...I'm all for Adium though, maybe a simple ToDo list (or even notes that sync!).

I want to be able to bring it home and plug it in, without having to worry about always syncing it. If I can download TV shows and podcasts directly, even if only while I'm home, that would be awesome, in my opinion.

Not if you have an encrypted wireless network.

Ahh.. I do encrypt my wifi pretty heavily, so I guess I should be alright. Maybe they could do Bluetooth sync'ing so you wouldn't even need a network. That could be nice. :)
