I'm 20, I've got a score in excess of 720, and I have a few cards with a $5k limit.

I recently applied for a mortgage and was prequalifed for $158,000 no-doc at 6%

24, last I checked (several months ago) I had a score around 720, not sure now. I have three cards, one that I never use with a $1500 limit (First Premier sucks), one from Capital One with $2500, and one from BankOne/Amazon.com with a $5000 limit. I use them basically to pay my electric/cable bills every month, plus some light spending (food and whatnot), and then pay them off. I always have a low balance on them, but always have a balance, just never a past-due one. Haven't looked into a mortgage yet, probably will in a few years though.

36, don't know my credit score right off hand. Was in the high 700's last I look (IIRC).

Will be out of debt before 38 (including $170,000 house and two 2003 model vehicles). :)

20 y/o, no clue what my score is, I got a $1300 Mastercard and a $3000 Discover card. If I called USAA, they'd probably bump up my limit, but meh.

I don't really care, I'm not spending that much money any time soon.

Also can't buy a house, can't buy a new car, can't get a loan, can't get a cellphone contract, etc. Credit isn't bad, only if you abuse it.

Absolutely. I work for an automotive supplier - who, by volume, supplys much more American than foreign.

Use a credit card on absolutely everything (EVERYTHING) that I can. Pay it off at the end of the month and get the $40 plus per month in cash back.

About $30,000 limit on the cards - zero balance (other than monthly paid off balances).

Will retire early! ;)
