What's wrong with WoW???

I just logged in and it d/led a quick update. Now when I login it asks me to choose a new realm but my realm Bronzebeard isn't there. What gives?

Ok, I picked realm and now I can't find my character. This would totally suck!!!

Well, it seems like blizzard and reality are disconnected. Often times they claim servers are up when they aren't. Aggramar is ALWAYS down 4-5 hours beyond when they claim the maintenance is done, and is never listed as having extended downtime. This is the one area I really think blizzard needs to work on... I don't recall playing another mmorpg where the patching was so random and delayed well beyond the allotted time with no acknowledgement.

I have this same problem myself earlier. I never picked a new server, as I was afraid to do something to my character.

There was a huge bug in the latest release. You could create characters on either faction with any name that already existed. Then it wouldn't let you log in with the original char as long as the other char was logged in.

According to the server status page, the only realms that are actually up and running are queued ... lol.

I've had wow for over 2 weeks now and this is the first time it's down. No biggie, I won't die from not playing it for a day.
