what's wrong with winamp 5.0 internet TV/radio?

i remember when it first came out, every channel worked.
now i either get nothing, or sound only.

with internet radio, either nothing plays, or the streams are choppy with 1 sec pauses every 30 secs.
too many listeners?

I had a similar problem, my solution was to uninstall and reinstall.
