I don't like buying hardware on ebay, but the price doesn't look to out of the ordinary. Ti4200 prices are droping, and especially since the new radeon came out and nvidia has been talking about releasing the nv30 earlier.

Just a thought

hmmm i guess it is. I have just looked ta too many cards today and i cant figure out which one to get. The 9700 sounds nice but i think the Radeon 8500's will be fine. Just for gaming and web design. Ya'll have any ideas?

You should post this in GH, more people could help you there that don't venture over here.

The TI-4200s are excellent cards. I paid $165 for a retail MSI card before labor day and I've been nothing but happy with it. I play UT2k3 at 1280x1024 with details maxed and it never lags.

My GF2 GTS still played all current games though. In America's Army, it lagged badly in one level, but other then that, I had played every new game (prior to UT2k3) on it. Usualy around 800x600 with details medium to max, depending on the game.
