but yeah in retrospect, the reason why out spending deficit is so big is because we won't sell them any of our high-tech stuff (our specialization) while we keep buying their low-tech clothes (their specialization) and stuff. u could easily cut the $100+ billion annual spending differentia in halfl between the two countries if we shipped them our technology... but then they would have missile shields and JSF's before we do, so no go
