Why are members and mods so concerned over whether a member includes Hs in words with that begin with H? I really don't get it.

Over the years I have had to put up with a number of stupid posting idiosyncrasies here, why pick on this guy for this inane little thing. Perhaps grow some skin? You have d-bags in here that spread around snickering little racist innuendo, and people like me that frankly feel most everyone is a complete moron, and SAY SO, and you decide to pick on this guy, who actually posts some thoughtful topics. Get lives? No, please EXPLAIN!

I'm guessing this is the correct one? Now since this is in the serious business forum, I expect seriously valid answers backed by logics and reasoninks, not, 'Because it bugs us'.

And we have gotten repeated complaints. It then becomes a judgement call. Another Senior Mod tried, very diplomatically, to request privately by pm that Arcadio forego his little idiosyncracy, which many believe he does intentionally, in order to annoy.

He repsonded positively for a while, but now has regressed, and it has again become an issue for us.

We are currently discussing it . . . one more time.

And we know, no matter which way we rule, some of you will be unhappy and accuse of us of incompetence . . . or worse.

Lucky us.

I think it doesn't bother anyone who doesn't WANT to be bothered by it.

I understand you guys might get heat for going either way with this, but seriously, 'ow can you justify it? It's just a missing letter. Perhaps you should tell people that choose to be bothered by it to ignore it or leave themselves? I think it's ridiculous to officially harass a guy over a missing letter. As I said, there have been far more annoying "idiosyncrasies" allowed to go on. Shit, half the nicks in this place should be banned for lack of imagination.

 
Missing letters can also cause a different word and convey a different meaning to a phrase.

Arcadio does it for attention, nothing more. When people call him an idiot, retard, troll or tool, or just outright highjack his threads, he's getting the kind of attention his behavior deserves. Why do you have a problem with that and why is it objectionable to you when people call him out on his attention whoring?

As for the mods, I can only assume they may consider taking action on his behavior because it is disruptive to the forums. Lots of things cause disruption and it's up to the mods to decide which of those warrant moderation.
