What's wrong with my Yamaha CRX2100EZ burner?

This thing will not burn a CD. In Adaptec it'll start to burn then stop and say "Unexpected Error" when starting to burn the Table of Contents. It doesn't actually burn anything to the CD.

I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling Adaptec 4.0, and 5.0 gives me BSODs, so I couldn't try that...

Any other suggestions?
