Whats wrong with my speakers? (ACS-56)

I just noticed my sub aint working and the bottom of the sub where all the speaker connections are is VERYYYYYY hot! I took the thing apart the sub-speaker looks good but the board with all the connections is veryyyyyyyyyy hot! whats wrong with it?

whats wrong here? the thing got very hot after I plugged it in again and a can hear the sub barelly vibrate.

Have you called Altec Tech Support? And how hot is VERYYYYYY hot? Is that like you can touch it without getting burnt or is it just warmer then you feel it sould be? Have you tried different cables? Different wall socket? Surge Protected outlet?

the heat spreaded thing is burning hot! the 1st time the botom of the whole thing was very hot i've tocued it before it was only warm as i took it apart i burned my hand on the heat spreader. its plugged into the same surge as the rest of the computer. and the ohter 4 speakers work fine, just no bass
