I was wonderin' if anyone could help me out here..

Havin a little trouble tryin to get my Asus A7v133 to work properly.. I installed my HD into the other IDE slot, the ones used for RAID which are currently set to ata100 and not raid, since i only have 1 HD. But when I do that, it doesnt boot up.. after the IRQ screen, it says "type the name of the command interpreter." When i use my normal IDE drives, everything works great, ata100 and all (detected as udma 5). I've had a few guys try to help me already, but nothing's solved the problem.. here's what few have suggested and I've tried..

-i've already installed the win98 drivers for promise ata100, which i got from asus' site.
-i've tried flashing the bios with the newest revisions and reinstalled the drivers again

another thing is, when i tried to boot up using these IDE slots, i got a boot virus error, so I disabled the bios virus detection, and thats what brought me to the current state. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you check the boot sequence? Is ATA-100 one of them?
Is ATA-100 enabled in bios?( I think this option is on the boot sequence screen as well) Do you see the promise bios screen at all?

Yep.. sure did. everything is detected and installed it correctly, but it still gives me the same "type the name of the Command Interpreter" message. someone told me to type in some order sequence like:

c:\windows\command\command.com
c:\sys

and some other sequences that I can't recall exactly then to restart with a boot disk, but that wouldn't work either.. always the same message popping up.
