what's wrong with my psu?!?

Hi guys i recently purchased my new rig. 2500k + gtx460 + corsair vengence 8bg + gigabyte z68x-ud3h-b3 mobo.

I was hoping to use the same psu that i had from another build. an 850 watt ocz stealthxstream. but some how it just doesnt work at all. so i purchased a corsair 750watt gold certified psu to see if it was my psu that was the problem, and sure enough the 750w worked and the 850 did not. then i tried my 850 with my old rig and it works perfectly, just not with my new set up.... can someone tell me why?

Maybe your system does not draw enough power (possibly on the 3.3 or 5V rail) to start the PSU.

what do you suggest i should do?

two of my psu's dont work, and the expensive one does.....

would u suggest i buy a 60$ corsair or antec psu? are these very reliable?
